What is Sunsilk Divas?
Sunsilk rolls out SUNSILK DIVAS, the first ever music talent hunt, to form the first all-girl band of Bangladesh.
Who can participate?
Any Bangladeshi born female over 18 years (on the date of registration) & below 30 years of age can register for Sunsilk Divas. If you already have an all-girl-band, you cannot register as a band. If all the members of your existing band can sing, or both sing and play an instrument, they can register individually.
How will this platform help me?
The top 4 performers in Sunsilk Divas will form the band, and the band will get 2 album deals and a 2-year contract under artist management with Artist Spread (Joint venture of Creinse Limited Bangladesh & SONY DADC) along with many attractive rewards like international exposure, cash prizes of 2 Lac for each member of the winning band, opportunities to work with renowned brands etc.
What are the rounds that the participant need to go through?
Online Submission Round: Interested participant will have to go to the website www.sunsilkdivas.com to register herself with an audio file of a song performed by herself. From this round, judges will select the best & top performing participants.
Live Audition Round: The qualified participants will move to the live audition round, where they will have to perform live in front of the judges in Dhaka. From this round, judges will select participants for the Bootcamp & TV Show Rounds.
Bootcamp & TV Show Rounds: From the Bootcamp round, grooming and training the participants will start and eventually through grooming in bootcamp & performances in TV rounds, top 4 participants will win and form the band.
Building The Band
I didn't understand all Girl Band Member. Are you looking for a new band of girls?
Sunsilk DIVAS is looking for individual female vocalists to form a new all-girl band of 4 members. You have to apply individually to participate. After registration, eventually through qualifying individually in different rounds, top 4 participants will win and form the band in the grand finale of Sunsilk Divas.
Are you taking single girl singer, or we have to make a group of 4 for audition?
You must register individually and audition individually.
Do I need to play any instruments to participate?
Or, I can only play an instrument but I can not sing, can I participate?
No, you do not need to play any instruments to participate. It is not a platform for musical instrument players, it is a platform to find vocalists. But if you can play an instrument and sing you are welcome to apply.
I already have an all Girl Band. How can we participate?
If you already have an all-girl-band, you cannot register as a band. If all the members of your existing band can sing, or both sing and play an instrument, they have to register individually.
Registration Process
What is the registration procedure?
Any Bangladeshi born female over 18 years (on the date of registration) & below 30 years of age can register for Sunsilk Divas. The last date of registration is the September 22nd 2018. To register you need to go to www.sunsilkdivas.com website. In the website, fill-up all the personal information on the registration form. After all required personal information are filled, you have to upload your song as an audio file. The length of the audio file should not be more than 2 minutes and file size can be upto 8MB. The song uploaded must be sung by the applicant herself, use of auto tuning or similar software is prohibited. After successful registration process, you will get a confirmation message on your registered number.
What kind of song do I need to submit?
Any song of any genre can be submitted. The song submitted must be sung by the applicant herself, use of instruments, auto tuning or similar software is prohibited. The song can be an original song or a cover.
What language of song do I need to submit?
Recommended language of the song is Bangla. Or, you can submit English songs, or any other popular language in the context of Bangladesh.
Audio file submission basics are:
a. The audio file must be unedited (no music, no instruments, only vocals).
b. The song must be sung by the applicant herself.
c. Each audio file can be maximum 8 MB in size.
d. Audio file duration can not exceed 120 seconds (2 minutes).
e. Recommended audio file format is .mp3, But other formats ( .m4a, .m4r, .wav, .aac, .wma, .amr etc.) can also be submitted.
Do I need professional degrees as a Musician/Singer? Can anyone without any singing experience apply?
No singing experience or any professional degree is required. If you think you can sing well, we strongly encourage you to apply to Sunsilk Divas.

How do I get a registration confirmation?
After you have completed the full registration, you will get a confirmation SMS from Sunsilk.
What is the age range to participate in the competition?
Any Bangladeshi born female over 18 years (on the date of registration) & below 30 years of age can register for Sunsilk Divas.
I am still 17 years and 11 months. Next month I will be 18. Can I participate?
Yes, you can but as per rule you need to bring all the documents. The participants must show documents during audition round proving her age and citizenship (For example: birth certificate, Or National ID, Or passport copy.)
Can any married girl participate in the competition?
Yes, married girls can participate in the competition.
I am divorced. Can I apply?
Yes of course you can.

What is the registration deadline?
September 22nd is the last date of registration.
When will be the results out?
Initially selected participants for the Dhaka audition round will be contacted through phone call by the month of September to the number provided during registration from the careline team.
Selection Process
Based on what will be the selection?
Participants will preliminarily be selected by a panel of judges based on the online audio files (no music, vocals only) they upload, and judges’ decisions shall be full and final.
When will the audition start?
The live audition will start once the selection process is over. If you are initially selected, you will be contacted by the careline team. Careline team will inform you about the time, date, & venue of the audition.
What is the process of selection?
Applicants will be initially selected solely based on the audio file of their songs submitted during the registration.
How many participants will be selected at first round?
The number of participants selected from the first round depends on the quality of the submissions and judges’ decision
Will there be more audition cities announced outside Dhaka?
Live audition will only take place in Dhaka.
What time do I arrive to the audition?
Time, Date and Place will be communicated through SMS or calls or both if you are selected initially.
How do I have to arrive to the audition?
Participants selected for the audition round shall have to come to a specific audition location in Dhaka on their own responsibility; transportation, accommodation, food or any other allowance shall not be provided by the organizers to the participant.
If I missed the assigned time can I still come to audition?
If you do not make it on time we will still allow you to audition but only after the previous queue is done. We assign times to cut down the long lines and unnecessary waiting. But it’s good to be on time, always.
How long will my audition be?
There will be long waiting hours so please plan to be at the audition all day. Performance time with the judges may vary. Start strong with your best song first.

How can I cancel my audition?

How many participants will be selected at second round?

Who will be the judges?
Hridoy Khan, Zohad Reza Chowdhury (Nemesis), Sharmin Sultana Sumi (Chirkut) & Alif Alauddin.
What are the judgment criteria?
Singing talent manifested in the audio file is the sole judgement criteria. In the live audition round, stage presence and overall performance in front of the judges will be scored by the judgement panel. All participants will be judged on detailed scoring and evaluation criteria which is subjected to confidentiality. The scoring and evaluation criteria will be unbiased to all participants.
Is there a list or restriction regarding type of songs that I have to sing for the audition?
There is no list, but we prefer applicants to sing in Bangla or English for the audio file.
If I get selected, will I be provided with transportation facility for Dhaka live audition round?
No, you will have to reach Dhaka by yourself for audition if selected.
If I get selected, for how long I'll be occupied doing the competition?
You will be occupied till the month of November 2018.

Which channel will broadcast the program?
Deepto TV will broadcast the program.
When will the program start?
The date and time of the airing of the program will be communicated later through press, TV commercial, social media, and other platforms

Miscellaneous
Is there any possibility to be disqualified in the middle of competition?
The organizers of Sunsilk Divas reserve the right to change, expand and/or terminate the competition at any point of time without any reason or prior announcement.
Can I audition if I am not a Dhaka Resident?
Yes, you can.
